Thanks much for the heads up. Hate to be an irritation but already have commitments at that time. Any chance the presentation might be recorded?
Holly Rutan will be speaking on Thursday (Feb 4) at Minnesota Aquarium Society membership meeting on bettas. Among her many activities and accomplishments, Holly is the president of the International Betta Congress. The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 7 PM (Central) with some club information. Holly will likely start her presentation 25 - 30 minutes afterwards.
To hear about bettas, you'll need to pre-register at the MAS website. Recent talks have had so much traffic that we have increased our ZOOM membership to accommodate 300 participants. If you were blocked out of previous meetings, that shouldn't happen this time.

Holly has agreed to allow us to record her presentation, so we'll put it up on the Minnesota Aquarium Society Youtube channel. Our digital media expert is still editing Bob Crouse's fancy guppy presentation from early January, so it'll be 2 - 3 weeks before the video goes up.

Willie, Our local Aquarium Club in Tucson/Southern Arizona, the Desert Aquarist Society, has been meeting via Zoom since March as well.

How do I go about getting on your zoom or utube presentations.
I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to anything on the computer other then email and
this site.
Thank you
Jay
All you need to do is to click on this link and enter your name/email/city/state. The system will respond via email with your registration link. When the meeting starts, just click on that link and it automatically takes you into ZOOM.
You can watch the entire meeting and type in your comments via the CHAT function at the bottom of your screen. So any desktop can do this. If you're using a laptop or tablet, we'll be able to see and hear you as well. But that's not necessary and you can always disable these functions.
Hope to see you tonight!

Thanks Willie, just registered.
