Best external filter with therm
Hi Guys,
New to the forum and just starting to put my tank together.
I'm looking for advice on an external filter - my tank is a rimless 60x60x60cm tank (235 litres) and open to advice
Budget wise looking to spend between £150-250 and would appreciate any feedback.
Cheers,
Paul

After a bit of looking around I've found this one:

But should I go with a 350 or a 250 as my tank is 235 litres?

Never heard of it but I’d get the 350. More is always better. And the flow rate is usually measured before media goes in. Which in turn lowers the flow rate as much as half. I like to have the heater separate.

My tanks are 125s one has an fx6 the other has a wet/dry system. But for me under 100g I use hob filters. For your tank I’d use a tidal 110.

Oase Biomaster Thermo 600 canister filter using German technology and quite well built.
You could modify it.

Got to love the pond guru!! Yes just by adding $100 of my bio-home and removing the sponge that came with it it will be so much better.
