What is wrong with my discus

I noticed this white stuff coming out of my discus this morning...... Has anyone seen this before?

You got to look at the diet of the fish. It's usually nothing, just the empty casing .You would only need to worry if it was mucus looking and long, segmented or not.

I thought the same as Dano. I have read that sometimes the prolapse will retract. In the meantime perhaps treat with Epsom salt, increase water change, and reduce feeding. Do you have a quarantine tank?

It's hard to tell but prolapse is a possibility. Is it still there at this time?

I would isolate the fish and treat with epsome salts and let us know if anything is expelled.

Is this a rupture or just coloration from the leaf?
