Absolutely amazing.... I just wonder how you can clean such a deep tank.

Thanks, Dan. BTW, I'm claiming credit for the altums.

They're stunning indeed. Did you successfully bred the altums or are they from juvies you grew out? Either way they are majestic angels!!

I grew out 18 juvies. After 300 water changes, it was time to thin out the tank. Andrew lives about 45 minutes away and had the perfect solution. These are Orinoco altums which develop blue highlights. They've got another year of growth left before hitting (I hope) 12 - 14" in height.

Incredible tank and the scape is great!

Very impressive. I love the altums and discus together. I also may have gotten a little distracted by the pleco...

That Pseudacanthicus leopardus is going to grow to 10", so it only works in a big tank.

I met Andrew right when Covid is starting, so I've never seen this tank in person. But Andrew mentioned that he got Kessil lights to provide that shimmer effect. I love it, but just am not ready to spend that much money!

    I agree! Kessils are amazing but E X P E N S I V E.

I tested some different lighting and found a bright par20 bulb at 6k does similar effect for much cheaper
