Hi All
Trying to raise some discus fry artificially how long is it before they really start eating the egg yolk aggressively?
Many thanks

The fry should be ready to eat the yolk on day seven, any feeding before is a waste of time.

I Sadly lost the fry but hardly had any to start with after 3 days of free swimming, one issue I find with the eggs yolk mix is the fry seemed to go for it but at times seemed to drift off to other areas and some looked as if they had not eaten well if at all , I used a air stone place hanging in the centre of the coffee filter basket , I did find it a nightmare cleaning them out as the coffee basket has a black plastic frame not ideal but cannot get white ones so you cannot pick out the fry easy when cleaning out the egg mix out.
