Noooooo
Well the fry all died today. Not sure why? Fed some bbs and came back to all dead. No clue why. Got pretty far this time. Last time I had a die off too but they were first day swimmers and only 10. This time it was around 60. Just can’t get them to eat .

The fry were probably eating off their egg sac, this can last for days.

Hi Tom, is the discus fry the one that didn't make it or the cory fry?
Do you know how old do the corys have to be before they spawn? Do you feed them specific food or just leftovers from the discus? Thank you!
If either of you have some for sale at some point please let me know. I've got a group of sterbai in a planted 100 gallon with mostly rams. They should be plenty old enough but I have never seen eggs.

Cliff they were off the egg sack and free swimming. Tried egg yoke and bbs but they don’t seem to be eating it. Wondering if the egg yoke could have caused the water to go bad?
Onpots the discus fry didn’t make it. But the cory fry is down to one. It seems to have eaten all the others. Does that make sense? I’ve grown bronze corys before and never had this happen.
Sorry Liz only one left. Mine have laid eggs after water changes where the incoming water was colder than the tank water.
Tom, you might be right with the egg yolk, with the high temperature bacteria can develops very quickly. Some breeders use bakers egg yolk because it has an antibacterial ingredients, if you don't have the bakers egg yolk more waterchanges will help.

Very hard to buy bakers powder egg yolk, the wholesalers only sells them in bulk to restaurants and bakeries.

I have gotten bakers powder egg yolk from restaurant owners that are into Discus Breeding and it comes in what looks like 50 bag or container. I also gotten the powder yolk from the Co-Op Store, military powder eggs and food banks. All of these powder egg yolk are a little different, for me the bakers powder egg yolk works the best.
