    Default New fry!!

So in the middle of my cross contamination my sterbai corys laid eggs. I grabbed 10 of these and added to a fry tank. Of the 10 5 have lived and are in there second week . 5E530D0E-414D-4E9B-800B-2ACF9A6D63CE.jpg. Next as my second tank cleared up and started looking good again my red tigers laid eggs again. A good sign! So I stole half of the eggs. They ate the rest as usual. So these egg I have in a Tupperware on top of a tank with an air tube going very slow. They just finished wiggling and are swimmers now. Doi still add the methylene blue? Of just keep changing the water regularly? I added some bbs and egg yoke and they did seem to go after it. This is a first for me! They’ve never ate before in other try’s.C5E65F13-6D05-429A-8CF3-ABAB6A7322A7.jpg2E4EEF4E-2A9A-4B61-814E-CB21ECE38E1A.jpg

Lol be been trying this for about 2 months now. This has to be the fourth or fifth time. Getting a little further each time though . It takes around 2 weeks to go from eggs to free swimming. And like clockwork there getting ready to lay eggs again. This may be the first time I don’t steal some eggs!

I started with like 6 corys. Now I have like 30. Most of the babies get eaten but a few always make it.

Fry still alive but I’ve lost a few. Don’t think they’re eating. I’ve tried egg yoke, bbs and little bites. But just don’t think there eating. Eggs she laid all turned white this time. She didn’t eat them this time. So not sure what happened there.

If you have a small tank with plants and stuff that doesn't think they are delicious put them in that. Then put a piece algae wafer and a piece of a shrimp wafer in they love those.
