The taller one is due to the canopy? If yes lets see the canopy a little better.

From first glance the second looks better cause bigger is always better, however if the first is 24" tall at least I think its better than trying to maintain one 30" tall

1st is 25" the 2nd is 30". I have had a 30" tall tank for over 13 years. I am 6'4" tall myself. The 30" depth don't bother me

Mate, to be honest and truthful (integrous) I have to say that when you post 2 virtually identical images that most people are looking at on their phones, and you add no other info regarding dimensions, you are almost always not going to get the answer you are looking for. Just saying...

I am 6'2" and have a 30" tall 500gal tank. I use a step ladder & a 24" long gravel vac attachment to assist cleaning. I like the extra height better

But seriously, this thread should be proof enough. Nobody in the real world will notice, whenever you can just go for the bigger tank. +1 for the "tall"
