    Looking for someone to help ID this discus
    Contacted @jackwattleydiscus
    Team member said it's a leopard sunshine

    Also others I contacted said its an Asian breed discus

    One photo is from Hepsdiscuscentre dated 2004, is only one I could find that looks like it

    Any info would be a big help ✌️

    It is definitely a PB strain also...as for the name, call it what you like, or whatever the supplier calls it...if you like it buy it, if not, don't...there's really no rhyme or reason w some strain names

    Closest description, yes.. It's not all that uncommon so don't commit because of a photo. FYI, Hep's was really good at using photoshop to enhance their photo's, including red eyes on BD's...

    Ka'Kar Thailand also relied it was a pigeon blood strain
    Jackwattley team seen to think it's a leopard strain

    The jet black in the fins and the peppering in the striations are a dead give away for PB strain...it may possibly have leopard in it's genetics somewhere, but it's still a PB

    U.S. Discus back around 2000 were selling what they called red dotted pigeons to some of the importers.

    To me, except for the one that was in the show, the rest of the pics show spotted Pigeons that are not ready for prime time. Quality PB's should never have pepper.
