Nice looking fish. You didn't answer my question about cover glasses on your tank. In the FTS it looks as though there are no covers but its difficult to tell due to the angle of the pic. Many a beautiful discus has come to grief jumping out of the tank...
The cause of discus pimples is almost always water quality. You may need to adjust your water management regime to mitigate the cause or you may find yourself pulling fish regularly to your treatment tank to deal with pimples that can be solved by improving your water quality. Just a suggestion...

Re: Andy's Discus Journey with thanks to Winnie's Discus
Daniel,
The tank is covered with a polycarbonate frame and netting so hopefully no jumping out. Your point is well taken on the water quality cause for the pimples. I have increased the turnover of my continuous drip water change system to 400 gallons per day from 300 gallons and increased my vigilance on cleaning the tank and sump. I found a potential source of bacterial build-up on the inside walls of my overflow boxes, which now get cleaned twice per week. I also am changing filter socks everyday as opposed to 3x per week. Trying to stay ahead of it now. Contemplating pulling out my 1/4" thin sand substrate but not there yet.
Thanks for the advice,
Andy
