    Default stop hose from kinking

I have a 36" python siphon and the hose at the end of the siphon keeps kinking from the weigh to the hose. i have seen somewhere on some website, that i can't find anymore of course, some kind of plastic jig that holds the hose to give it strength from kinking. has anyone heard of such a thing?

    Thanks,
    Jim

There are spring coil that wraps around the hose to prevent kinks.

Fluval canister filter have such attachments Jim. Something like this would work if your suphin hose diameter was compatible...

if anyone is interested, I found these at home depot. They are bend supports for pex tubing. They come in 1/2 and 3/4 inch. i am using the 3/4 inch because it fits right over the siphon barb. The 1/2 fits the tubing perfectly. The 1/2 hose is on the right in the pic.
