    Default Quarantine Tank

What kind of things do you put in your QT, to help your Discus feel safe? Do you go with fake plants, pvc pipe, or something other?

A heater and a sponge filter. If they're skittish, it's because they're unwell. When they're cured, they'll have no problem with a bare tank.
At my age, everything is irritating.

Just a bare tank. I find that it works best.

Just bare tank and a sponge filter and if you are medicating use an airstone. Maintain the heater temperature at 86f approximately. This would increase the metabolism of fish. Better dont feed for first 2 days

I've tried not to feed new fish, but I'm so excited to have them and I know that they have been starved for 24 hrs before they're shipped. They say it's bad to do but I give new ones a light feeding once they look comfortable in their new digs, which takes only hours.
