Default Do water temperature/light level affect aggression?

Noticing that the pushiest (smallest) of mine gets obnoxious in noon lighting, calms down wth light dimming. (I'm going through the 'new discus' phase of pecking order.) And wondering if the weather shifting (tank temp rose from 82 to 85) might also have an effect.

I keep my young Discus around 86 and the adults at around 82. The young small Discus would be more active and grow faster then during the late evening I would bed them down by turning the lights off.
