Rusty Wessel will be presenting a talk at the Minnesota Aquarium Society December meeting Thursday (12/2) at 7 PM (Central time). If you don't know Rusty, he has done everything there is to do in the hobby - to the point that he has a cichlid species named after him. Rusty will be talking about Central American cichlids and livebearers, and how they interact in nature and in the aquarium.

The meeting will be both live and streamed. It's open to everyone, so all are welcome. You need to pre-register to participate virtually. Go to http://www.aquarium.mn and click to register. You'll receive an automated e-mail response with a unique log-in link for the meeting.

If you're in the Twin Cities area, the meeting is on the Plymouth campus of St. Cloud State University (http://www.stcloudstate.edu/plymouth/contact.aspx). All attendees will get raffle tickets for swag, including some fish Rusty is bringing. Raffle items include an LED light and a year's subscription to AMAZONAS magazine. Additional raffle tickets are for sale if you really, really, really want something.
