I was using the Aquaclear 70 power head for my 120 gallons tank many years ago, these days they have more choices for poweheads.

Try Bulk reef supply for power heads

There's definitely many options for powerheads that can make the 4' long distance. No need to splurge $$$ on any particular one in my opinion. I also have a 4' tank and I ended up changing my filtration by adding a fluval 407 with about a 3 foot spray bar pointing towards the surface of the water. The discus seem to have liked the change with less flow, and because of this I've removed my powerhead. Plus, I never really liked seeing it in the first place. With the flow now going up and spreading through the tank, it helps circulate the water plus I have some hoplo catfish cleaning up the bottom and making sure the tank is cleaned up by kicking up debris to get caught by the filtration.

    Good luck.
