Mine will even call me when I get a priority box if I ask. Gotta love 'em.

Box did not show up at the Post Office today
All egg NG from spawn the parents did not pay attention and fan the eggs. The other pair seams interested.
I was afraid of that. I didn't want to check only to find out bad news. Lets hope that the second pair does the deed soon and does a better job at it.

Post offices seem want to do less and less while postage rates go higher and higher. Sometimes they agree to hold my boxes, other times they flatly refuse to do it. My advice to shippers is to list my name, my phone number and the post office address. When it arrives, they have to call me to pick up. Never got charged extra for a hold.
At my age, everything is irritating.
Now they are going at it.
There's a separate form to make the "HOLD" official. Much is automated anymore and if it's not properly flagged, it's likely to get delivered vs being held. It does not cost any extra. I use it when I'm shipping honey bee queens in the summer.
The form is typically NOT out in the normal areas and you have to ask for it at the front desk. I'm told this is to limit "accidental" holds and that makes sense.
This time as soon as they were finished I removed the eggs and put in a specimen container. I used RO with a TDS of 20 and 2 drops of MB.

That's a whole different animal, unfortunately. I had some live plants shipped from Texas to me in Iowa about a month ago. Paid for heat packs and styrofoam. They took a roughly seven day detour to Los Angeles and took 10 or 11 days to get to me.
In any event, there's an "official" means of holding a shipment that makes sure you're not relying on someone at the local PO to "remember" to hold your package. The "old way" was to write phone numbers and warnings all over the package and I had way too many shipments of queens either to or from me end up on a hot mail truck all day and then tossed to bake further in a mail box.
Oh my word. What a multitude of wiggling little babies. It won't be long now.

Congrats that does look like a lot made it!!
I got the pots cut in half from Carlos yesterday. If I weren't about to lie down and rest my back I'd take pics. I've put 4 into use so far.
I have tons more terracotta saucers than I will ever need. I'd give them away but I know nobody who wants. Maybe I can stick one in the box when I start selling my pairs again. I should have had pairs on AB two weeks ago.
