    Hi All,

Lets have some fun! Post your favorite discus pics with its strain (if known).

IMG_7803.jpg This guy colored up as he grew. No idea of strain.

IMG_7818.jpg Not a great pic, but my high fin blue diamond grew massively and is the tank boss.

Great looking Discus and tank. The water is crystal clear. What sort of filtration do you use?

Here are a couple of my favorite. One is a High Fin Blue Diamond (not quite as big as yours, but still the boss) and the other is Leopard Discus.Attachment 132499

Wow…….fun and interesting idea, but oh SO hard to pick as I like quite a few. If I had to just look at one strain, it would surely end up being the Red Eagle.

Very nice! I have a small wet/dry sump with filter floss, seachem matrix and purigen. I think the purigen really makes the water clear.

Anyone have a strain name for this guy? It's a poor pic, he is much more blue than this.

Thank you for the kind words. If it's got more blue and judging by the vertical stripes it might be a blue tiger torquoise discus. Beautiful fish!

Yes, I believe they are, but with a lighter decorated tank and peppering reduction at the breeding level, much of it has been minimal or even non-existent w my Red Eagles. I also feed them red factored food if that may help….not sure.

They very large I had added my blue diamond 5" from Hans and he looked tiny next to them they are at least 6.5" plus and the love to eat.
I had to remove the blue diamond (male) since the female was beating him up. so now she pick on her partner I guess they wanted the pad for themselves.
