How Fast Can You Reduce TDS?

I have a breeding pair that I want to reduce the TDS in the tank from @ 300 to 60-70 for breeding. I have a RO system. How fast can I drop down to the 60-70's - and not harm the fish.

I just do 50% pure RO water changes until I achieve the desired TDS. This can take 3 or 4 water changes...

I have dumped fish from aged tap into 100% RO without ill affect. Don't worry about it just do what you need to do to achieve the TDS you are looking for.

Absolutely correct! I was just saying the way I usually do it. There have been times when I do an 80% RO change when I see them preparing to spawn...

PH change is more of a concern than TDS...
