Default Pair fighting during and after hith

Hi, I have a post on here about my pair with hith, but I have another question.

After buying a pair with fry feeding on them , they developed hith, I have been treating them successfully together in the same tank until.

During treatment the male recovered alot quicker, once 95% recovered he started picking on the female, wether because she was a bit unwell still or he wanted to breed I'm not sure.

To let the female recover I put a clear divider in the tank. It has been a week and the female is now nearly back to normal so I removed the divider, the male is now picking on her, and chasing her into a corner.

I have removed the male now to a separate tank.

Should I, leave them separate for a while in seperate tanks?
Leave them in the tank together with the divider?
Or put them back together and let them sort it out?

It's my understanding that pairs fight, but my concern is why he started picking in the first place, was it because he was better and ready to breed?
Or because he just saw U unwell discus compared to him and picked at her?

Wait till both Discus are 100% healthy before putting them back together again. Medication can also delay the female's spawning cycle.
