    Playing with the New Lens with the teleconverter.

    Mourning Dove in Boardman, OR (east of the Columbia Gorge in the desert)
    Distance to subject 30 feet.
    Pentax K-1 (full frame digital camera body), Sigma 500mm 1:4.5 lens, Sigma 2x teleconverter.
    1000mm total focal length at approximately f9 to f11.

    I know nothing about cameras and settings, sorry. Mourning doves have always been one of my favorite birds. I used to see and hear them calling often down here. For some reason that is no longer the case. But that looks more like a ring necked dove to me.

    Doves clean out my bird feeders faster the squirrels and chipmunks.
