Dubosi african cichlid with discus
Can the colorful African cichlid like dubosi be kept together with discus. I know that they like hardware unlike discus but they are hardy and will survive in discus water conditions. But will they fight with discus. Secondly can silver dollars be kept with discus.

No, there diet is different. Tropheus species will get bloat on a meaty diet. Silver dollars can be fin nippers if they get hungry.

Of course they shouldn’t. Opposite ends of the water spectrum

I used to have a 55 gal. Tropheus sp. Kaiser II species only tank. The high ph, hardness, diet are all different, not to mention that Tropheus can be aggressive towards others species. Mine did better and bred better when I made a homemade mix to raise ph to 8.4 and dH 10 hardness. I know some folks put them in the water they have but that range made a different in my experience.
