    Default Well water RODI filters

Hey fellow discus friends. I was wondering what filters you use for your rodi unit when you have well water. I’ve been using resin filters for the most part along with some different types of resins that help eliminate phosphates but they go bad quickly. Any advice or tips would be great. I don’t want to use 100 percent aged well water since there’s too much phosphate in my water that creates way too bad of algae in my planted tanks. Just want to give my discus the best water possible. Thanks much all.

I don't think that a resin filter is necessary at all. They're important for salt water but not fresh. For fresh water the carbon and sediment filters alone will remove almost 100% of the minerals. For salt water fish "almost" is not enough.
