How long would it take to cycle a 40 gal, bb tank with ammonia?

So you're going to need to do daily water changes in the quarantine tank which means the tank doesn't have to be cycled. It can cycle thru their quarantine. Just keep your eye on the water parameters and keep up with water changes . Have done this method numerous times.

The DrTimAquatics additive will cycle a tank in 4 - 6 days versus starting with no inoculum.
At my age, everything is irritating.

I use Seachem Stability. I've used it according to label directions with great success.
