Gill Problem
Hello,
I have this beautiful Tiger and have a problem with one side gill , would appreciate help , Video link

He is in perfect heath condition ,he eats ,no sign of stress and even breed last week , Have been notice it staring breathing heavier then his tank mates weeks ago , now I noticed this , threated with PP last week in case of flukes but seems did not work

Some one else might chime in. To me it looks like a long term gill fluke infection. Often the extra tissue will appear along the gill or gill covers may open more in long term infections. Also will often use one gill at a time. Dose with Prazi then again in a week. I've never used PP but some have with good results.

Looks like advanced Bacterial Gill Disease, could be caused by flukes or high bio load. You can treat with a salt dip or PP, either will get rid of flukes and bacteria, but the gill damage has already been done. It'll always breathe heavier but you can certainly prolong its life by treating...

I use Absolute Wormer, these days. It's easy on the fish, and it gets worms as well as flukes. I wouldn't be surprised if the fish weren't wormy, as well as having gill flukes.

So glad I found this, my Galaxy Turk has the exact same problem. I was dosing everything trying to cure it
