Tech question for the site.

When I post a video I get this8562BA78-F91B-4FE0-984F-520CE93B5AA0.jpgon my iPad but the video does show on my iPhone.897107E8-722A-4965-AC02-BBD11837E1E8.jpg. Any idea why?

A couple of ideas that come to mind right off the bat: Older generation iPad, iPad not up to date, iPad browser (I think mobile Safari?) out of date (which could prevent showing the YouTube iframe), and adblocker/content settings for mobile safari on iPad just to name a few.

For some pictures and maybe videos on here, on my phone I have to go to the full website view not the mobile version. Bottom left on the site.

Yes that’s where my setting is on the iPad. It’s a 4th gen. I’m wondering if it has something to do with removing the s on the https utube heading?

I think removing the S just makes it viewable on the page instead of as a link.

If everyone else can see it, and you can see it on your iPhone then it must be an iPad issue, but then again I only use my laptop so I can't be of much help with an iPad. I have seen others with iPhone/iPad issues in the past. I'll see if I can find their solutions...

You can post a video from YouTube on the forum and yes, you remove the "s" from the link to see the link as a video. Note that this is posted using the "Insert Video" icon.

Yes it’s strange and I’m not a tech person so don’t have a clue. Will have my wife look into it . But I have no problem on other sites. Here is the only place I have to delete the s. That’s why I though it may deal with the s.
