I have seen three breeding pairs in a 55 gallon tank divided by 2 eggcrate, the fry were swimming between each pair.

Hi All,
I recently got a pair of Stendker Blue Diamond Is (about 12cm, so not too large), but they take some time to get in the mood; they have been pecking at the cone and shivering, but somehow nothing yet. Nothing worrysome, its only been a few weeks.
However, as I was doing research on what tanks breeding pairs need, I noticed that in all the videos of (home)breeders, the tanks are tiny! So this got me wondering, would it be OK to put a divider (that lets through water) in my juwel Lido 120 and have 2 breeding pairs in there? I have an appartment, so with limited space, this would be a great solution. What would this mean for my WC (that I now do 2-3 times a week)?
In my opinion,
Pros:
- Hormones of one breeding pair could get the other one fired up
- 1 WC instead of 2 different aquarium
- They dont really need the space?
Cons:
- To little water volume and/or swimming space?
- To many WCs to keep up? 1-2 daily?
Keen to hear if this has been done and/or your opinions!
