    Looks like a very nice setup. I wish I had more room for a proper sump system in the tank I will be setting up.

    I am new to discus but not to planted tanks. The larger plant you have in the center is some sort of java fern that looks as if it is struggling!!!! They are epephites and should not be planted in substrate for best results. If you do change your wood, attach that plant to it with gel glue or in a crack. If it begains to throw off new growth from the ends of the plant, attach them to where the base is attached to the wood. Over time you should have a nice bush of java fern.

    Java fern is a good plant to use in a planted discus tank. If it is aclumated properly, it will thrive!!
