Pond canister filter for aquarium

Are pond canister filters from sunsun cpf series good for a 560 litres aquarium with discus fish and barebottom. I heard that over filtration is good so a sunsun cpf would be good I think. Has anybody used pond canister filters in their 5 feet or 6 feet aquarium.

Do you know the GPH? I know guys on Monster Fishkeepers use pond filters for their extremely large 10 foot plus tanks. Depending on the size of the filter that may be too much flow for discus in a 5 foot tank.

Thanks actually I was thinking of putting the pond canister filter output on over the top aquarium large tall trickle filter
