The virtues of an auto feeder
Hey all, just wanted to share my success using an auto feeder over time. It’s programmed to feed 4x a day and it’s been a huge success for me. I’m using Sera granules in mine, and also feed frozen beef heart, bloodworms and brine shrimp here and there. There’s no way I could feed 28++ times a week at regular intervals, and amazingly my fish eat it all up. Obvs I keep up on WCs, but I wonder why this isn’t more universally recommended for discus.
Get yourself an auto feeder, thank me later. No, it’s not just for vacations.

I used them when I was traveling for my job and was gone 4 days a week. They work great!

Nobody has asked about them in a long time. I totally recommend them. I used them when I was working. Now that I'm retired and home all the time I no longer need them.

I've had one for months and haven't used it. Now that my fish seem very keen on eating pellets and vibrabites out of pretty much nowhere, I think I might finally put it on the tank. Would be nice to let it feed a couple of times a day outside of my feedings.

Fish get fed pellets daily at 2, 4, 6 and 8pm, and still fly over for frozen treats. Forgot to mention, one of those floating rings work well to keep food from floating into the overflow before it gets a chance to sink. Game changer
