    Liz, the wigglers were probably too weak. Better luck on the next spawn.

    Liz, if the pair is too stupid, you can move the pitcher in with another pair.

    I have one pitcher per pair. The two older pairs were doing nothing after a long time in breeding tanks so I put the 4 of them in a 100 gallon yesterday for a change of scenery. One of the 2 younger pairs male's eat the eggs as they are laid. The stupid pair in question just never attracted the kids last time which was the first time they even got as far as wigglers. At least they spawned again yesterday which gave me hope for the new year.

    Are all blue SS's such recalcitrant breeders?
