Default Hardness and PH for F1-F2

So, I was interested in this topic after seeing the Hans F2 discus. Are F2 fish removed enough from the wild where they can thrive in high PH, high TDS, water? Or do they require that lower PH and lower TDS closer to nature. Does it depend on who has bred them? I am not really sure of the process of how I can keep discus in parameters so different from the wild. Thank you.

Stability is the issue. Keep it stable and do not try to throw chemicals in there to keep the PH and hardness bouncing up and down. Good clean stable water.
