Do Discus pair for life?

Curious, once a pair is established, and later separated, do either males or females pair with other fish? Thanks!

Generally, yes although it can take a bit of time.

Yep.. and sometimes a pair that was awesome together for a long time suddenly have the police called so many times that a divorce is really the only safe thing.

Yes, both males and females can be remated, I once had a female that spawn with six males.
