Found this little Green Heron at the Lake Marion Boat Ramp in the early morning light. I think it caught either a shrimp or small fish.

Of course I do Liz and happy to comply I do some cropping, basic edits and noise reduction and in PS I removed some of the foreground leaves.

In my experience, green herons could also be called duck hunters' bane. There's nothing that looks quite like a surprise wood duck encounter than a green heron zipping through the decoys. They'll usually got me grabbing the gun when I duck hunted.
