Please tell me this is a joke!! As an electrican it’s plan to see that’s just a big mistake! Any qualified electrican would have added a third tyrap on the bottom.
Quite possibly the best use of Ty-Raps I've seen in electrical service, if I'm honest. Usually, it's at some critical juncture which forces flexing and vibration right at one point and then you get to find it five years later when some gigantic piece of machinery is losing the company $100k/hour and backing up the works. Surprised it's not just taped up.
Luckily they also maintain this fishing Pier ....

If that's the quality their work, bless their poor hearts.

I do think that the best way to really appreciate this park is to look at the neighborhood it caters to, Its a very upscale modern yet historic area.

Okay, Now that I have had my fun, That park is actually a really nice park, which is why I am bothered by the state of disrepair. I only visit it the winter usually because out of towners pay $25 to park in season and I like the solitude in the winter.. Its has a beautiful working carousel house. . Its a really popular place for weddings as well . It has a water park area for the kids . Its a bird watchers mecha also as in the fall the hawk migrate over head by the hundreds each day of the fall season... Its one of the best places to watch for hawks in CT.
For me though its a really cool spot to look for winter ducks. They like to hang out in the harbor here .... Theres always something cool to see like this old sqaw..(Clangula hyemalis) (HEAVY CROPPED PHOTO)

Well I’ve got to say these blocks with arrows pointing up looks like a major accident waiting to happen. Todays young drivers will all be looking up as their car/bicycle/skateboard/electric scooter drifts right into one of those huge concrete blocks! Yeah I see Lawsuit!! Taxes going up!…...
The assumption being that they actually notice the blocks while staring at their phone screens. As far as the original electrical repair, can tell it was done by a northerner. Red Neck wouda used duck tape.....lots and lots of duck tape.
