Oh and don't forget to try our Discus Chow and Diskus Gold Pellets. These are a perfect compliment to our Freeze Dried Australian Blackworms. Shipping is free on all pellets I sell.

Al, I already feed a pellet that I like, but I decided to give your Discus Gold a try and let the fish decide which they prefer. Thank you.

How long is the sale going to last? I am setting up tanks now and will need food when I get some fish.

I bought mine months before I got fish, just stored them in the freezer.

I've got some of the FDBW and the Discus and all my other fish love them, except the Clownfish.
And I've got some pellets on the way. Price is too good to pass up! Thanks for the sale.

I've always wondered at what point you'd be feeding the granules or chow (or similarly sized foods). Do adults really go after the 1mm pellets? From my experience with the discus I had - they were barely interested in anything that they considered too small. Example - they'd attack large flake food, but ignored it as soon as it broke up (or if I took from the bottom of the container where it was mostly small pieces around 1-2mm).

I have always fed my adults 1 mm size pellets Jake, In my experience its the best size for discus... too large a pellet and they mouth it again and again and make a mess. The act of mouthing it and spitting it out is what they do when its too big a food item.

Great video Al, and I also appreciate your response to my inquiry as far as size of food. Yours definitely seem more interested in the pellets than mine ever were!
