After what seemed like forever of them eating eggs and them turning white..was doing a tap ro mix. I decided to try just straight RO with some sodium carbonate as a buffer and wow I have babies from one pair and my other pair has wigglers about to go free swimming. My babies (pictured) are off mom and dad and eating on their own. did first pp treatment on them today. Any tips tricks, things to do next, watch out for? Gonna try and get them into tap water to grow out. which is like 8.2 and 380 tds. What’s the best way to do it and how old should they be

Beautiful parents - they should do well. You should be thinking about supplementing their food with baby brine shrimp, then moving quickly to wean them to solid foods. If you're not familiar with hatching baby brine shrimp (it's really easy), now would be a great time to start.
I'd stay away from the PP and just focus on making large, frequent water changes.

At my age, everything is irritating.
They look like around a month old, try some beefheart shaving and daily massive water changes.

That's awesome! Congrats
Ya they are about a month old. They have been taking after beefheart. And my wife has been feeding them Hikari first bites they seem to really like them. the ones that are a month old are off another pair than the ones I posted. The wigglers on the pot in the pic with the parents just went free swimming this morning so I have 2 successful breeding pairs now. Crazy I was starting to think it just wasn’t gonna happen pretty exciting to see!
Those are good looking fish. Please post more pics as the babies grow. Nothing gives me more joy that having baby Discus.

Wow that’s awesome congrats!!! Can’t wait to see how they turn out!
I'd do as others advised.. definitely no need for pp.. its really hard on fry gills.. and long term leaves scar tissue damage. Clean water.. good food..good to go!
Congrats!

Thanks everyone. About how old and how fast should I approach moving them
Into tap water(8.2) from ro? (6.8-7).
There's no hard and fast rule about moving fry. I find people tend to move them out early because they want the parents to spawn again. I usually keep mine with the parents until they're fully weaned onto high protein foods - of which beefheart is the best. Even then, there's no particularly rush. When I traveled in Asia, I've seen 1" fry with their parents that were eating the parents' food. Usually I move them about a month after free swimming.
As the fry get bigger, they'll take bigger bites of the slime. In some cases, you'll see the parents react to the biting. Sometimes, you'll actually get a wound on the parents' side. If that happens, the wound heals rapidly as soon as the fry is removed with absolutely no harm to the parent. Adult discus are obviously well adapted to this situation.
More important is to give the parents some rest before they spawn again. A month to 6-weeks is a minimum before I'd allow them to spawn. Longer spacing leads to bigger spawns, which leads to higher success rates.
Having fun and keep the water changes going!

Have a had several die the last 2 days anything I should be watching out for? Could it have been the pp treatment. They all seem to be huddled together in the corner now not moving around nearly as much
Your going to have to backtrack what you did differently the last few days.
