Default 40 Gallon Breeder Shell Dweller Tank

Besides keeping my 125-gallon discus tank, I do have a very active shell dweller tank going with multis(Multifasciatus). I started out with just six fish about two years ago. Check it out: https://youtu.be/F2KAMJ4qtAs

I love my Multis tank. Shell dwellers are one of the most active, entertaining fish I have ever kept. Roland are you sure they're not Neolamprologus similis ? Beautiful colony you have , excellent job.

You could be right, just know there’s a bunch of them. Just letting nature run its course with these guys. Real fun to watch always moving the sand around.

I used to have a colony of multis and they were great! I agree that yours look different than what I had--could well be the similis, which used to be more rare. I still have my old shells in storage...
