Nice Dave, where did you go? It almost looks like Blackpoint Wildflife Drive?

Film is way more difficult than the tools we use today Dave. I have very similar images from my slide film days! I can remember just burning through the slide film and then waiting and waiting. When The box came I would sit there like it was Christmas ...and then open it up and start throwing slide after slide into the circular filing cabinet (aka Garbage Pail) at my feet. My first time to Florida I had a k1000.

I remember the slide days. Same here with the excitement when it came back from the lab. I used a mailaway service, I think it was RGB Color Labs. Risky to drop them in the mail but price, quality and turnaround time couldn't be beat!
There was no comparison to seeing your images in such crazy vivid color and clarity 5 feet wide in a dark room!
I preferred Kodachrome 25 when lighting allowed it, which for my subjects, it usually did.
Still have most of my slides and my projector still works!
My neighbor and father-in-law had darkrooms and I also did some b/w developing in high school in the photo club. My F-I-L was a pro photographer for the Chicago Tribune in the gangster days!
