    Very nice Pat.. I like the ants tending aphids best.. and the fly next . Hand held macros?

    Pat, are you using extension tubes, reverse rings, or just a macro lens?

    I ask as sometimes a macro lens on extension tubes allows you to get closer to the subject, and your shots look like you were very close.

    Hi Dave, I am using two extension tubes at the same time, a 12mm and a 20mm. I am also using DX mode (crop sensor) on a full frame camera (Nikon).

    Awesome. I also stack extension tubes

    I can switch the setting on my Pentax to 1:1, crop, and full frame
