I love them all Al but I really like "Feather Thief", makes me smile. Are those chicken feathers?

Yep Pat... Those house sparrows are always raiding the chicken runs or old bedding pile to feather their nests.

You're just a tease. It got down to 26 last night

Well, I never said it was warm.. we hit 34F last night . I had to go outside and cover my 120 gal axolotl pond with plywood and toss in a Heater as I was worried it was going to get too cold for them. I had thought we safely past that temp and moved some outside.

Cool! Is there any threat from predators?

Raccoons at night but the axolotls hide well... herons in the day but I have a reed cover to hide them from aerial view until the leaves on the trees open.

Between you and Pat you have encouraged me to pick up some items..... ring light flash, 100mm extension tube (I have an extension tube set, and bellows for the 35mm, and an extension tube set for the 645z).

I also ordered a different ball head (one that can handle the weight of my 500mm lens).

I received two polarizer filters yesterday (67mm and 77mm), and am waiting for some R72 Infrared filters to show up. It is getting time for blossoms, bees, birds, and other wildlife here... in fact I have three tulips blooming in the front yard, the lavender is greening up (it will bloom in a month or so), and I have buds on the figs and hibiscus.
