That is just so cool! It really sounds like a great trip! Did you run into any language issues?

None! Most everybody spoke English. Or someone in the store did. All in all an interesting trip. But I did hope to see some pet stores but the trip is so regimented that there’s not much free time. And any store was on the outskirts of the cities and you needed to Uber to get to them. Just too much to risk. Second day in Lucern we were to go on a walking tour and were 2 min late. It had left already. Only 1 other couple. At one of the ship stops an older couple from Peru missed the ship leaving and had to Uber to the next stop to catch it. Was a few hundred euros. Also this was at Worms which was the fix place because of the high water. They went on the bus trip to Speyer and I don’t think they caught the bus back. Language problem there and the fact they didn’t bus them back and didn’t know they were missing was kind of upsetting. But the ship must go on lol.

That's always my worry with highly regimented and tightly scheduled trips like that. It would be very stressful to have to make sure I met all the designated times or figure it out if everything had left.
