pectoral fin

Hi All,

I saw discus at my LFS, very nice shape and coloration however its pectoral fins are misshapen. Is this something that can be fixed or if it's misshapen as a young adult it will stay that way?

Deformities can be from several factors...could be genetic, could be from poor nutrition at growing stages, and could be from other factors like poorly healed tissue after injuries or infections.
