Memorial Day Plans?

Hi guys,
Whats everyones Holiday plans? Having a big get together?, Checking out a parade? Whats your Holiday looking like?

We have a small town Parade for the Holiday that ends with Honoring Local Military. Its a really nice event that brings alot of the town together. No big picnics here... we used to have huge get togethers on the holidays, but my family dynamics have changed dramatically the last few years, so it will most likely be a quiet family of 4-5 , camp fire cooking and for me, some very good ales. oh and some time well spent making sure the Hammock functions properly.

Have meat thawing so I can make two meatloaves on the smoker, some Tri-Tip, a chuck and a round roast.

Also will run a couple errands tomorrow, take some barkeepers helper to glass tops of the two 20 gallon tanks, and maybe the 75 gallon. Also will try and clean two alto saxophone mouthpieces from a used sax I just picked up (950.00 for an instrument that when in production was over 3000.00). I also may try a short bicycle ride and see about saddle placement. If the saddle is in the right place I will plug it in to the wall to heat it up so I can ride while changing hand positions every 30 seconds for a short 10 minute ride, and then do it again to mold the saddle to my backside.

Monday I will be a vendor at the local Farmers' Market selling prints (ready to hang metal prints, canvas prints, and a couple prints on metallic paper), and coffee mugs.

I'm having a small get-together with some friends. I'll be making steak and beef tacos, grilled corn on the cob, and some rice. Friends are bringing some snacks and booze to drink.

Monday I plan on relaxing and sleeping in.

Hope you all had a nice weekend.. was pleasant here..did work a bit around the yard.. had a graduation party for my daughter, son hosted his college buds for a barbecue... I wore the chef hat..

Grilled chicken quarters with mint and basil vinegar, grilled pork tenderloin dry rubbed seasoning (brian.. the mix I sent you)and basted lightly with olive oil and basil vinegar.
I would have fire grilled but it was way too windy and dry at the time.

thats a CT Ale in the glass... Seahag by New England Brewery. If you ever get a chance to try their Beers... do it! SeaHag is great.

Not shown in the pic, also had another CT Beer, Headway by Counterweight Brewery which resides in the number one spot of my all time favorite ales.. Headway is just one beautiful smelling and tasting Ale!
