What do I have to do to get a break? Now they've decided that they don't like one another. They're fighting. I can either put a divider in the tank or stick them in a 100 gallon Ram tank.

Sorry Liz! Hope they change their minds. They are great looking discus. Luv the blue. Seems like everything is red now.

Liz, maybe you can add a couple more Discus in the tank this will force them to rebond.

Cliff, I only have 6 Discus, all pairs in breeding tanks except these to fighters who are now in a 100 gallon with a bunch of black rams. Since they've been in with the rams, suddenly they find each others company isn't so bad after all.

Liz put a Divider in the tank, Give them a few days to forget about the last batch eggs and then pull the divider.. I have a pair that do this every time a spawn fails.. Its like they blame each other lol

I'm gonna try them for a few days in the Ram tank first. It's almost as clean as my Discus breeding tanks. After a time out with the blacks, I'll put in a divider and put one on each side. Would you suggest Poret foam so they can't see each other or egg crate so they can?

Well, well, well, wouldn't you just know it. They have returned to being a pair. They're pecking on the side of the tank and driving off the evil rams. I need to cut the egg crate a bit so it fits the breeding tank and get them moved as soon as I finish lunch.

No, I did as Al suggested and moved them back to their own tank each on their own side of the divider. there's a clone in the female's side. I ma remove the divider tomorrow.
