4th of July theft Advisory Issued

The International Corn Association in conjunction with the Squirrel conservation league has issued an advisory for the upcoming 4th of July Weekend. They are cautioning everyone to please keep all Corn on the Cob securely locked up during your holiday picnics. Apparently there has been an uptick in Corn related theft. The thieves are hitting hard and fast, grabbing what they can and running off. Reports are coming in all over the place. The thefts had initially baffled police until one bird watcher happened to catch a theft in progress. Authorities believe the thieves are small, grey and look remarkably like Gray Squirrels. Be careful everyone.

In other News today, The USPS is asking Congress to look into the affects of Global Climate Change and warming on the US mail Delivery system. Its getting harder and harder they say to delivery mail on time and are looking for approval for the purchase of a fleet of carbon neutral Boats to assist in the deliveries.

Important News Announcement!!

In the weeks following the rash of Corn Thefts during the 4th of July , the criminals were not apprehended but no further crimes had occurred ..until now. The FBI profilers had thought these criminals were fixated on Corn and only corn. Its commonly held knowledge that most criminals do not change their Modus Operandi however there have been exceptions and either we have a copy cat criminal here or the thieves are back and have upped their game. A camper at a CT state Park captured the whole robbery on their camera in the early morning hours while everyone at the campground was asleep.

The criminal in question is still on the loose and the authorities are very worried the upcoming labor day and end of summer festivities. They are cautioning everyone to keep their graham crackers under lock and key until they capture this bandit. Only then will it be safe to leave your food items outside at night at campgrounds. Stay save everyone.
