Praying Mantis

After I told Al I have seen exactly two praying mantis the whole time I have lived in my current house. I'm be damned, I ran across one when I was out hunting jumping spiders. It was hunting in the beauty berry bush. It allowed me to handle it and it wasn't shy at all. What a super little bug

Thanks Al and it is full of personality. It was not shy and willingly walked on my hand and back on a leaf. Then would get right back to stalking prey

Guess so! Maybe the last winter being so mild had something to do with it..I know alot of pest bugs are in high numbers as a result of it...yours look a bit bigger than my current batch Tom.

When I was doing macro I remember just wanting to photograph EVERYTHING. I got my reverse rings out, some form of bellows and ring lights. My ex wife would make fun of me lol
