Dr. Scott Juntti from the University of Maryland will be presenting a talk to the Minnesota Aquarium Society on Thursday, August 3, at 7 PM (Central). He will discuss the use of cutting edge genetic tools like CRISPR to understand the genetic mechanisms which regulate the behavior of common aquarium fishes.

If you're interested in science, you'll know that Jennifer Doudna and Emmanuelle Charpentier, who developed CRISPR technology, won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry last year.
