    Default Pump

I need a pump to use for cleaning the bottoms of my bare bottom tanks. It will be at floor level and pump up to a laundry sink. I will have a tube like a Python uses to clean the feces and uneaten food from the tank bottoms. I had a magnetic drive pump with a clear plastic pump head years ago that would be perfect if I could find one like it.

I am planning on using a remote control switch to turn the pump on and off. It will not have to be self priming but it will run semi-dry when I move from tank to tank.

Does anybody know of any pumps like that that are available today?

I use SICCE Ultra Zero pump. They can pump out water down to 1/8th of an inch.
Super convenient pump for water change. Look up some videos in youtube. You will never use anything else.

    Thanks, Al.

I didn't see anything on that thread that looked like it would work. The one you returned was the closest to what I need, but not if it was obnoxiously loud.

I actually believe that I have a mag drive 5 I no longer use laying around somewhere. Shall I search in the fish closet for it?

If it is not too much trouble that would be great. I have no idea when I will be in Mississippi again.

Found it and don't mind hanging on to it at all. Heck, I don't know when (if) the pair will spawn again.

I use this for cleaning my bare bottom tanks and for some water changes. Not the most powerful but does a great job. I bought mostly for the bottom tanks. It shows not available, but you can find some similar. I attach the hose right to my drain.
