Batik snake skin x super Panthra any takers what would the Fry be like?

These are both 14-bar snakeskin type strains that are similar in appearance. I bet you'll get the same fine pattern, the same coloration, but with a combination of stripes and dots.

Hard to guess. So many different names for the same fish. Right now I’ve got fry from a Batik (batik?) eruption and some type of Leopard.2F0DAD69-49E1-4791-BF76-FD3DCD070C96.jpg07EE13F6-2399-4BD4-8F36-1B59CFAE3F5B.jpgC1F0D3F3-1BFA-41DC-9572-8E744B979096.jpg. These are at the 30 day range and dime sized. Put ups pic of yours.

Breeding LSS to LSS can produce a lot of throwbacks. It's just a guess, but you'll probably see a small percentage of fry that resemble the parents, some fine line SS's, some Leopards and some Turq's. Only time will tell the percentages...

Have to agree with Brian here.. most likely a mix so hold into them as long as you can so you can pick the best for your goal.

Breeding snakeskins you will get a variety of different color, to break it down there are two difference first there are the 8 and 9 stress bar
type these can be anything ranging from no blue pattern to solid blue and there are the 14 stress bar they range from no blue striated Discus to full body striated blue. Now the snakeskins take longer to color up, the finer line the longer it take some to take up 10 to 12 months. So you end up keeping these Snakeskins till they are adults, if you cull the runts that might be a full color Discus, just don't know
unless they are treat with hormone.
