    Default Thank you Al!!!!

My camera arrived after USPS took 8 days worring about the lithium battery. The timing was perfect as I was too sick last week to even thing about taking pictures. Al, how to you keep your well used equipment looking brand new? All of my well used stuff looks well used.

It will be cold her for the next few days so after I get this last group of ram pairs shipped off, I'll have 3 days to play camera lady.

I'm excited to be able to take pics of my pair with fry on their daddy. Actually, they've spending more and more time looking for BBS and other food and less time on daddy.

Al, what can I say other than thank you to let you know how much I appreciate this. It was a very expensive gift.

Patience, Gary. I'm not sure how differently this camera works than my D 80. Good things come to those who wait.

Just for you my Vanfriend. This is my first try. I do hope I get better. This camera is way smarter than my D 80 which was already smarter than me. I'm going to have to do a lot of studying. I hope I'm not too thick to figure it out.

Oh, that monster fry between daddy's pelvics is a week older than the rest. There used to be 3 that survived from the last spawn. Then mom started chowing down on them and by the time I got her tank left there was only one from the previous spawn left. Amazing to see the difference in growth that 1 week makes.

Really Nice Shot! dad and the kids are beautiful.

    My pleasure Liz,

Thank god it finally got there!

I would suggest taking it out in the yard and practicing in good light... I can easily walk you through anything you don't understand. Its a great camera to move up from the d80. Its renders colors beautifully.

Can I make it save my images as jpeg only? I'm not the photographer you are. For now, at least, all I need are the jpegs.

absolutely.. You can easily set that up in the cameras Menu for file size and type.. I would suggest you set it to – JPEG Compression: “Optimal Quality” It will give you the best jpeg images.
